One counts one’s blessings at this time of year. Frankly, I can’t count that high.
Lost a friend or two in ’25. God rest ’em.
Things left undone? I really cannot count that high either.
Things done good? Zinged Hughes and got Starlink. Worked on my book.
List of things to do: Growing by the second.
Long-term? Am still in love with the girl I first saw when she was 13. I was 14. She’s done well and is still lovely. Haven’t seen her since 1960. This despite my having been engaged twice. Never.
My one and only beloved is still with me. Louie, my sole remaing cat, will be 15.
